Friday Gifts

8.  I'm thankful for a sweet little guy who said, "Mrs. --,  You're the bestest teacher ever" during a somewhat crazy Friday at school.  Melted my heart and helped me to remain focused on the positives.

9.  I'm immensely thankful for welcoming afternoon hugs from the girls, filled with smiles and details from their day.

10.  I'm thankful to see the joy and sense of accomplishment in my daughter's face after completing her first ever cross-stitch sampler.  (I foresee more in her future - she seems "hooked!")  ;)  

I took this just after she stitched her final stitch.  

We've had a rocky track record for completing projects - so this was a sort of a big deal for her.  

11.  As FRIGID as it's been here, I've been very mindful of how blessed I am to have shelter, heat, warm winter coat, and necessary winter gear.  I know that there are many who may not be so blessed.
